The essential oil of rosemary is extracted from the twigs of the plant (rosmarinus officinalis). The unmistakable fragrance makes this oil immediately recognizable. It is used for draining and relaxing massages. It boasts dermopurifying and astringent properties, for this reason it can be added (one or two drops are enough) inside creams, shampoos or shower gels in cases of impure, oily or acne-prone skin. If inserted inside a room diffuser or an essence burner, it gives a feeling of relaxation, at the same time improving concentration. It is advisable to apply it diluted using a carrier oil, or by mixing a few drops with other formulations.
