Rosehip oil is obtained from the cold pressing of the seeds of rosehip flowers, whose botanical name is Rosa Rubiginosa. Known for its elasticizing and antioxidant properties, this oil is composed of about 80% polyunsaturated fatty acids (alpha-linolenic acid and linoleic acid); it also contains vitamin C, E, K, squalene and retinol. Useful in the treatment of sensitive skin, with redness and couperose, rosehip oil boasts emollient and antioxidant properties. It promotes tissue regeneration, for this reason it can be used on scars, acne lesions, but also burns and small burns. Excellent for preventing and treating atrophic scars and stretch marks, this oil is also a valid ally in preventing wrinkles. It nourishes the skin and helps to keep it elastic. It is ideal for aging, mature, dry or dehydrated skin.
