LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL

The essential oil of lavender is obtained through the steam distillation of lavender flower heads. Known for its aromatherapeutic properties, if inserted in a room diffuser or an essence burner, it provides a rebalancing and calming sensation. It can be added (one or two drops are enough) to cosmetic formulations such as face or body cream, shampoo, conditioner, scrub. This essential oil can also be put in the bath or in the hot tub to enjoy a relaxing sensory experience. Lavender essential oil also has antibacterial, antifungal, soothing, decongestant, and analgesic properties. It is advisable to apply it diluted using a carrier oil, or by mixing a few drops with other formulations.
